Yield Ahead Symbol Sign (W3-2)
The Yield Ahead Symbol sign should be placed in areas where the ahead Yield sign is not visible or otherwise partially obstructed. The yield ahead symbol can also be placed in advance of intersections where previous accidents have occurred as an extra measure of safety. The new style of sign features a yield symbol and arrow to symbolize the Yield sign ahead. The new style of sign shall replace all old signage that previously displayed text "Yield Ahead". With a bright red and white yield symbol on a contrasting black and yellow background this sign is an excellent tool to increase awareness of the intersection ahead.
