Here’s what you need to know about each one of these steps.

Choosing A Blank Sign 

Choose from Aluminum Sign Blanks, Flat Street Sign Blanks made from reflective aluminum, and Extruded Sign Blanks. All of our sign blanks are made from heavy-duty, rust-free aluminum that can withstand harsh weather conditions. In some cases, engineer grade or diamond grade blanks are available. 

Aluminum Sign Blanks

We have a  variety of sizes of Aluminum Sign Blanks to choose from. The square aluminum sign blanks - 12 inches, 18 inches, 24 inches, and 30 inches. These are available as a square or diamond option depending on where you would like the holes punched for positioning the sign.

Sizes range from 12 x 6 inches to our largest aluminum blank sign for ordering from our website, which is 30 by 30 inches.

However, we can cut, punch, and radius just about any size street sign blank you need. If you require an unusual shape of blank street sign, send us a print.

Flat Street Sign Blanks

Available in green, blue or white, our Flat Street Signs feature 3M reflective material for visibility during day and night. Both sides are covered with 3M High Intensity Prismatic Sheeting as well.

Two different heights are available, 6 or 9 inches, and lengths are 24, 30, 36, 42, and 48 inches. Our Flat Signs have rounded, 3/4 inch radius corners and no holes.  Click here for our flat street sign blanks.

Extruded Sign Blanks 

Available in green, blue and white, our Extruded Street Sign Blanks are made from reflective material to ensure they are as visible as possible during both the day and night. More stable than flat street sign blades, our Extruded Sign Blanks are 6 or 9 inches high and come in four different lengths: 24, 30, 36, 42, and 48 inches. 

Heavy-Duty, rust-free aluminum means these signs are long-lasting. Since they are covered with 3M High Intensity Prismatic Sheeting, they’ll stay looking great for years, whatever the weather conditions.  Click here for our extruded street sign blanks.

Reflective Sheeting For Signs

Our range includes:

3M High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting - a durable topcoat to help prevent your sign from scuffs and scratches. This Sheeting meets industry standards and has a performance warranty for up to 10 years. Colors include white, yellow, orange, red, blue, green, and brown 

3M Diamond Grade Fluorescent Reflective Sheeting  - highly visible whatever the time of day, weather, and season. Fluorescent Yellow can be used for yellow traffic control signs. Fluorescent Yellow Green is approved for signs warning of non-motorized traffic. Fluorescent Orange is suitable for use on rigid substrate work zone signs. Available in 24, 30 and 36-inch widths.

3M Diamond Grade VIP Reflective Sheeting is suitable for urban street and intersection signage.

3M Engineer Grade Prismatic Reflective Sheeting is ideal for commercial or non-critical traffic sign applications.

3M ElectroCut Film is a transparent, acrylic film for application over reflective sheeting to produce durable sign backgrounds.

Adhesive Letters 

Dornbos’ 3M High Intensity Prismatic Reflective letters and numbers are ideal for outside use. Available in white, green, blue, red, and yellow, the Letters are Highway Font Series B. Premium Protective Overlay Film 

Our Premium Protective Overlay Film is applied over the surface of signs to protect them from graffiti, tagging, and fly posting. Suitable for both reflective and non-reflective signs, this high-performance Film is tough, durable, and resistant to solvents. Premium Protective Overlay Film is available in 24, 30, 36 and 48-inch widths.
