Yes, the sign faces are MUTCD and FHWA-compliant. Flashing beacon application, flash rate, and placement are governed by the MUTCD and state supplements, so confirm requirements with a traffic engineer before installing.

Do I need an electrician to install a solar LED sign?

No. Solar units are self-contained and bolt to a standard post with common hand tools. AC-powered units require a licensed electrical connection.

How fast do LED signs ship?

How Do Solar LED Traffic Signs Work?

A solar-powered flashing sign is self-contained. A rooftop solar panel charges an internal battery during the day, and the battery drives a ring of eight LEDs around the sign face at 60–80 flashes per minute, bright enough to read in direct sun, and rated for over 100,000 hours of service. Because the whole system runs on its own power, there's no trenching, no conduit, and no utility connection to coordinate, so they are quick to install.
